TrioWrap, TenoSpin, AgriSpinFlex, Etirbal and HorseWrap are part of Trioplast’s quality products assortment for bale wrapping. For us, it is the content the most important, the content is, after all, what our products protect and refine.

SAFEGUARD YOUR FORAGE!

Trioplast silage stretch films provide optimal conditions for an effective ensiling, which safeguards forage energy and nutrient values.
RULES FOR A SUCCESSFUL BALE SILAGE
• Cut the grass at an early stage in its development - before it flowers
• Avoid getting soil mixed into the silage by keeping a stubble height when cutting the grass.

• Try to obtain good, uniform wilting.
• Bales should be dense and well shaped and 30-50 % dry matter, optimum DM 45-50 %.

• Use a bale wrapper that places the film evenly and correctly paying close attention to the pre-stretch unit. Film pre-stretch should not exceed 70%.
• Bales should be wrapped within two hours after baling.

• Use an adequate amount of film. Apply minimum 6 layers of film to all parts of the bale, using 50 % overlap system, 2+2+2
• Use a high quality film that offers good stretch ability and UV protection. Trioplast Bale Wrap films are stabilized against UV deterioration for 12 months. Check the quality (holes, adhesion, etc.).

• If a hole is torn in the stretch film after wrapping, seal with a UV stabilized adhesive tape. Caution should be exercised with old, coarse crops of low sugar content, where extra film layers may help achieve a satisfactory result.
• Carry the bale to the storage site soon after wrapping; ideally wrapping should be carried out at the storage site.

• Handle wrapped bales as little and as carefully as possible, using a bale grip that does not damage the film. The bales should be left untouched until required.
• The storage site should be even and drained, with no sharp stones or other objects that may damage the film. Ideally away from hedges and trees.

• Measures should be taken to protect bales against vermin by using rodenticides as recommended by manufacturer.
