T6990 is the entry-level leak test instrument in the ForTest product range.
It clearly improves the user interface, thanks to an innovative tempered glass panel with integrated capacitive keyboard, which surrounds a 3.5-inch colour display.
The new high-resolution display makes the display of the test cycle and programming menus even clearer, and the capacitive keyboard enables fast parameter entry.

The T6990 has a stable and noise-free measurement resolution of 0.1 Pa at 1 bar (0.5 Pa at 6 bar), sharing some of the measurement section adopted on the superior T8xxx and T9xxx series.

T6990 has a more limited number of ports than its bigger brothers, but is equally comprehensive: a USB slave port, RS232, RS485 and Can bus.

A master usb port is mounted on the front panel for connecting a usb stick that allows storage of performed tests, backup/restore of parameters and updating of instrument firmware.
Connection to thermal printers, bar-code/data-matrix readers and markers is automatic via internal menu.
