The Petra 1000 is specifically designed to handle applications with a very high solid content, such as cnc grinding, polishing applications, machining of cast iron and heat-treatment (quench oil) applications.

The Petra oil mist separator develops 600 CFM (1000 m3/h) and is suitable for all machine tools with a max cabin size of 353CF. It can easily be installed on most machine tools, which saves floor space and eliminates unnecessary pipe work and expensive pipe maintenance.

This is important because these types of applications produce a great deal of the solid particles that can drop out in the pipes. It also makes it easier to move the machine tool when production requirements change.

Like other BLUE LINE products, the Petra is a pure centrifugal separator, so its maintenance requirements are minimal. The patented rotating disc stack separates the oil mist far more effectively than filtered based centrifugal technologies such as cyclones and rotary filters.
