Hydraulic rotating fittingDuff-Norton Europe introduces its new ranges of rotary unions designed for hose reels on vacuum tankers equipped with high-pressure hydraulic hoses and used for cleaning ducts, drains, septic tanks, and roadways.
In its ongoing efforts to expand its range of rotary unions, Duff-Norton Europe has launched the DNHC and DNHCR series to meet the requirements of applications in which water is transferred at high pressure via hydraulic hose reels on sanitation trucks.
These devices’ carbon steel or 316L stainless steel parts allow them to transfer water with or without additives at a maximum pressure of 350 bar (all dimensions).
These new series are available in both axial (DNHC) and radial (DNHCR) models.
In another key development, these new products are now available with BSP (and soon BSPP with a BS ring) and NPT threads. Other types of threads will also be available on request (including UNF, among others).
Similar to the new series (DWPA and DNRF), the DNHC and DNHCR series represent some of the most cost-effective solutions on the market and offer a number of technical advantages compared to other products out there. Examples of these advantages include the following:
In addition, you can obtain the DNHC and DNHCR series at any time through our QSP (Quick Ship Program) which ensures shipment from our factory within 24 hours.
This not only allows the DNHC and DNHCR series to meet all of the demands of the relevant markets, it also makes them one of the most competitive series out there.

Hydraulic rotating fittingDuff-Norton Europe has added a new range of rotary unions with PN10/PN16 flanged connections.
For several years now, Duff-Norton Europe has offered a series of rotary unions with flanged connections known as the BR series, which is available in either carbon steel with nickel plating (known as Kanigen®) or 316L stainless steel. Although this series is perfectly tailored to market needs, its selling price has prevented it from achieving widespread commercial success.
The DNRF series features all of the technical specifications of the BR series (dimensions, working pressure, rotational speed, material, etc.), with the added advantage of reduced production costs. As a result, Duff-Norton Europe is now offering the DNRF series at extremely competitive prices, while still guaranteeing the top quality that Duff-Norton Europe rotary unions have become known for.
The DNRF series offers a number of additional advantages over the BR series, for example:
Lower starting and operating torque than the BR series, which eliminates the “gland” effect associated with the BR series
Easier maintenance, as the tightening torque no longer needs to be adjusted as it did with the BR series, and it is now easier to replace the rotating seal
Option to provide different types of flange connections, whether standard or custom, based on end requirements
To facilitate the connection of the DNRF series, Duff-Norton Europe also supplies connection kits that can be screwed or soldered directly onto the end user’s fittings.
The DNRF series meets the requirements of fluid-transfer applications such as loading arms, treatment plants, and hose reels used with large opening diameters, etc.
Launched in 2015, the DNRF series is the first new range of Duff-Norton Europe rotary unions and marks a major technical advance for the company’s products, with the aim of meeting market needs as effectively as possible.

Hydraulic rotating fittingDuff-Norton Europe presents its new range of Rotary Unions intended mainly for the offset printing and plastics markets.
Duff-Norton Europe continues the expansion of its range of rotating unions with the arrival of the DWPA series intended mainly for the offset printing and plastics markets.
In order to meet the applications of cooling or transfer of water or non-corrosive fluids (unloaded oil), Duff Norton Europe already proposed the series 5000 stainless steel 316L more general. Nevertheless, if the design of the 5000 series perfectly matches the requirements of these markets, its selling price cannot establish themselves on these markets. Now the DWPA series meet this requirement and ranks among the cheapest in the market.
Its aluminium and stainless steel components to convey any type of fluid no Corrosives, responding thus to the majority of the needs of the market. In addition to competitive pricing, the DWPA series offers the following benefits :
In order to meet all needs, the DWPA series is available in stock both for simple models or double passages with connection for tube siphon fixed or rotating.
The DWPA series meet all applications that need to convey a noncorrosive fluid at a maximum pressure of 14 bar, a maximum temperature of 100 °C (not related) and a maximum speed of 3,000 rpm (depending on the operating pressure).
The DWPA series shows the willingness of Duff Norton Europe to better respond to the needs of our customers, offering reliable and dedicated to each application solutions.

Hydraulic rotating fittingAt Duff-Norton Europe, we are continuing our efforts to expand our range of rotary unions with the introduction of the DNCHP and DNCHPR series.
These new rotary unions represent an advanced version of Duff-Norton Europe’s current DNTP series, which was specifically designed to respond to the extreme conditions encountered in high-pressure oil engines used in the civil engineering and agricultural sectors.
Significant advances have been made to the performance of the DNCHP series in terms of weight, torque, and service life. Unlike the DNTP series, which was available in an axial model only, this new series offers both axial (DNCHP) and radial (DNCHPR) models. This means that Duff-Norton Europe covers 99% of all needs in these areas.
In another advance, both series (DNCHP & DNCHPR) are now available with BSP and/or NPT threads. Other types of threads are also available on request (including JIC and metric threads, among others).
This means that the DNCHP and DNCHPR series not only meet all of the demands of the relevant sectors, it also makes them one of the most competitive series available on the market.
Made from nickel-plated steel and incorporating composite bearing technology, they allow the transfer of hydraulic fluid at pressures of up to 350 bar coupled with unrivaled service life. Compared to assemblies comprised of 1 or 2 ball bearings, composite bearings allow for improved guiding support for the components as a unit.
Apart from competitive pricing, the DNCHP and DNCHPR series offer the following benefits:
You can obtain the DNCHP or DNCHPR series at any time through our QSP (Quick Ship Program) which ensures delivery within 24 hours.
The DNCHP & DNCHPR series therefore meet the requirements of all applications in which hydraulic oil alone needs to be transported at a maximum pressure of 350 bar and a maximum temperature of 130°C (independently).
The DNCHP and DNCHPR series showcase Duff-Norton Europe’s ongoing commitment to continuously meet the needs of its customers by offering reliable, application-specific solutions.
