Aluminum and ZARGES

Aluminum is hygienic: The smooth surface can be easily cleaned and emits no odor. Aluminum containers are ideal for high hygienic requirements.

Aluminum is transformable: All the usual methods of treatment - welding, forming etc. - can be used with aluminum and in a much more rational way than with other metals.

Aluminum is lightweight and very stable: The density of aluminum is only 2.6 to 2.8 g per cm3 approx. This represents approx. 1/3 of the density of the steel. Despite its low weight, aluminum is also strong.

Aluminum is vapor proof: Even for extremely long storage times, moisture can not seep into the material. Welded aluminum containers are available in a waterproof version.

Aluminum resists corrosion and protects itself: In case of contact with oxygen, the surface is covered with an oxide layer that renews itself immediately if it is damaged.

Aluminum resists UV radiation: Long storage times and UV irradiation have no influence on this material.

Aluminum is insensitive to large temperature variations: The properties of the material remain constant in the temperature range of -40 to + 80 ° C.

Aluminum is fully recyclable: The old aluminum can be melted and reused - a decisive point in the disposal of waste and the protection of the environment.

Aluminum is insensitive to shocks and is very strong: Shocks cause the formation of bumps on the surface, but the energy of the shocks is absorbed by the deformation.

Aluminum is magnetically neutral: Aluminum does not have ferromagnetism. In some cases of application, this property can play a leading role.

Aluminum drives electricity: Aluminum is a very good conductor for current and heat, which is an advantage in the case of electronic components housings for example.
