The Alcatel-Lucent 8610 Instant Convergent Charging Suite (ICC) is a highly flexible and configurable convergent payment product. It supports real-time rating, charging and billing for wireline, wireless, data and video (quad play) services with an open suite of payment capabilities. This allows service providers to: (1) simultaneously offer prepaid, postpaid and hybrid real-time rating and charging service packages for voice (circuit and VoIP), data, video, packet, session, events, content, and eCommerce support multiple networks including CDMA, GSM/GPRS, IMS and wireline (2) create and deploy innovative commercial offers and attractive tariff schemes to further expand existing revenue streams tailored to individual market segments (3) enable cost controls for prepaid and postpaid subscribers to reduce bad debt (4) define customized loyalty programs to reduce churn and increase average revenue per user (ARPU).

With approximately 25% market share, the Alcatel-Lucent approach to convergent payment has been deployed by more than 180 service providers to support approximately 250 million subscribers worldwide. Current customers include major international groups such as KPN, O2, Orange, Orascom, Verizon Wireless and Vodafone.
