Induction heating appliances

NTN-SNR induction heating appliances provide the best solution in terms of safety, cleanliness and speed. Various sizes of appliance allow any size or weight of bearing to be heated. A magnetic probe is used to ensure a uniform rise in temperature.

Fasttherm20: for bore diameters greater than 20 mm, with a maximum outside diameter of 280 mm and a maximum weight of 20 kg.

Fasttherm35: for bore diameters greater than 20 mm, with a maximum outside diameter of 410 mm and a maximum weight of 35 kg.

Fasttherm150: for bore diameters greater than 30 mm, with a maximum outside diameter of 490 mm and a maximum weight of 150 kg.

Fasttherm300: for bore diameters greater than 30 mm, with a maximum outside diameter of 740 mm and a maximum weight of 300 kg.

Safetherm700: for bore diameters greater than 45 mm, with a maximum outside diameter of 900 mm and a maximum weight of 700 kg.

Safetherm1200: for bore diameters greater than 85 mm, with a maximum outside diameter of 1500 mm and a maximum weight of 1200 kg.

Cold assembly case

Cold assembly is the simplest way, suitable for small and medium sizes.

The NTN-SNR tool kit allows the simple, accurate assembly of bearings in complete safety. In a light, strong presentation for workshop use, this case contains 33 very strong impact sockets for longer life, three comfortable-to-hold, light and very strong aluminium striking tubes and a special dead-blow mallet providing optimum striking. NTN-SNR also offers a socket exchange in the event of loss or breakage).

Hydraulic nuts

Beyond a certain shaft diameter, the assembly or removal of a bearing from a tapered seat requires hydraulic assistance. A hydraulic nut provides perfect adjustment control during assembly while limiting manual effort and reducing the time required for the operation. In addition to its hydraulic principle, the “Back and Forth” nut provides complete comfort with the automatic return of the thrust plate to its position. This wide range can be used for assembly on 50 mm to 1000 mm shafts.

High-pressure hydraulic pumps are designed to be used with automatic return hydraulic nuts or for the assembly or removal of bearings on an oil film. The pumps are supplied in series with accessories sized for 700 bar and 1500 bar.
