Beki-Shield®, a master batch of stainless steel fibers, is used to make plastics electrically conductive in order to avoid static charges or solve electromagnetic interference problems. Static charges are a threat to electronic devices, particularly in critical areas such as hospitals or production sites of electronic devices. Conductive plastics also serve as a shield against electro-magnetic waves in order to avoid EMS problems.
