The patented "three rake" point is generated in one chucking. This involves tool positioning in three
planes for each cutting lip. The first rake angle (primary clearance angle) is adjustable, the second and the third rake angles are fixed. The fourth rake angle is also adjustable. It provides cross sharpening thick web drills.For a quality edge finish, a 0,735 KW (1 HP) heavy duty precision motorized spindle uses 150 mm/6'' diameter grinding wheels. The wheel head assembly traverses by manual hand wheel control to an adjustable positive stop.
