Ready-to-use centrifugal systems. The patented Vetamat® system separates the metal chips from the metalworking fluids.
Wet chips are shaken into the funnel and fed automatically into the centrifuge from there. The delivery includes the centrifuge with hydraulics, chip conveyor with tank, base pan and controller. The Vetamat® Plus system design also includes a chip crusher and a lift & tip device. Long chips are first filled into the lift & tip device by a chip transporter and then tipped into the chip crusher. The crushed chips fall into the funnel and land in the centrifuge.
As soon as the chips containing the metalworking fluids are tipped into the funnel, the system switches itself on. The chips are automatically added in continuous amounts to the centrifuge. The ejected metalworking fluids are collected in the tank beneath the chip funnel.
When the tank detects it is full, the fluid is automatically pumped over to the onsite storage tank or in the cooling solution cleaning system. The projected chips fall into the chip container under the centrifuge. The centrifuge works in batches (hydraulically operated sliding floor in the drum) which makes it self-cleaning, even when working with silt and sediment. The centrifuge drums never need cleaning. The chips are kept at a constant drying temperature. The system switches itself off automatically when there are no more chips added.
If you switch to a different type of chip, an integrated cleaning cycle can dislodge any remaining chips from the machine. The machines comply with the latest accident prevention (UVV), Association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies (VDE), Water Management Act (WHG) and EN guidelines.
The complete centrifuge system is pre-assembled, connected and installed in an oil-tight container (WHG-compliant) and equipped with ready-to-use controls (Siemens SPS).
