The CIELab Color Sensor PR0128 is a color detection system for media in the visible spectrum of light and disposes of an internal light source.

64 Products from white to black can be tested independently from each other without changing the gain or any other parameter.

The sensor comes with 6 binary coded product outputs for releasing the detected color. Here the product that should be detected is constantly illuminated via a light source.

The parameterization and evaluation takes place in the CIELab color space. The sensor captures 3 color channels in parallel. The cycle time for control via digital inputs is approx. 20ms. The parallel capturing of all color channels as well as the specific measurement procedure lead to a high suppression of environmental effects
