Domestic waste clinkers

The recently initiated project cooperation between Goudsmit Magnetic Systems B.V. of Waalre and Feniks Recycling BV of Hengelo delivers a maximum return to end processor Twence Afvalverwerking B.V. of Hengelo. Expansion of the existing line with three Eddy current separators ensure a maximum yield of recycled metals from domestic waste clinkers. The separators remove large, medium as well as very fine fractions. The latest one is new for the recycling industry. To achieve this Goudsmit has developed a fine-poled magnet rotor, which also delivers maximum separation results for small fractions. The company has manufactured a test installation for testing, which can provide a good assessment of the expected results. In view of the current high metal prices, as well as the quality improvement of the products, the deployment of these three separators deliver an accelerated return-on-investment.
