Dörken has been developing microlayer corrosion protection systems in Herdecke for over 30 years. And as such high-performance corrosion protection has to withstand enormous stresses and complex specifications despite each layer being extremely thin, this is just as complicated as it sounds – particularly in development and production. As we develop every new product, we therefore ask ourselves: Is it efficient? Is it environmentally compatible? Quite simply: Is it better?
So that our products can be used free of concern, we have, for example, always consistently avoided the use in their production of any heavy metals, such as chromium, cadmium or lead.

Products and systems
As thin as is necessary, as hardwearing as possible: micro layer corrosion protection systems need to satisfy the toughest requirements. Between 1 and 18 µm in thickness, they are primarily employed where high performance corrosion protection is utilised in a functional manner - and where there is a particular requirement for it.
Because despite the thinness of the layer, the requirements placed on coating systems today extend far beyond pure corrosion protection. In this, DELTA-MKS® systems are just as ideally suited for the coating of screws as they are for springs and clips.
