Guerin Systems SAS, Tetra Pak group has developed a dust free Big Bag dumping station.
Dedicated to installations requiring a high hygienic level and food security, its design provides any foreign body coming from the outside of the Big Bag to enter the system.
Of course, it’s Atex certified.
With very small dimensions (1.6m x 1.6m) and doesn’t need any connection to a dust collector, it’s totally self contained and easy to install.
The framework in open profile (stainless steel or galvanized steel), can support a hoist rail.
A clever pneumatic device actuated with a bi-manual control allows to pinch the Big Bag sack with full security. The tightness is made before removing the Big Bag lace so the operator is not in contact with the product. A second pneumatic device hangs the sack in order to have a perfect flow of the product.
The product is extracted out of the Big Bag with the help of a stainless steel vibrating hopper.
The Big Bag fastening has also been engineered. Two strangling rings with pneumatic control tighten the sack in order to be able to lace it. The pneumatic tightening device can then be opened in order to remove the Big Bag without contact between product and operator.
Together with a negative pressure conveying system, this Big Bag dumping station is the best solution for high hygienic level installations.
Of course, any other conveying solution (positive pressure, screw conveyor,…) can be installed at the outlet of the station.
