Design
This system designed to filter hydrocarbon-polluted rainwater works by gravity and is designed and assembled in Europe. It comprises an oleophilic and hydrophobic polymer that permanently absorbs the hydrocarbons.
In the event of an oil leak, this polymer reacts and forms a plug, thereby preventing any liquid from leaking into the environment. Flow rate: 1500 litres/min. Weight of HDPE box with dry powder: 210 kg.

Use
The FILTRELEC ULTIME® system for filtering oil-polluted water has to be installed at the pit outlet after separation through decantation. A concrete well supplied by AKHELEC or made on-site by a service provider, is installed on the ground.
The whole flow exiting the pit passes through the HDPE box containing a specific filtering medium.
Optional: a sensor displays the level of saturation of the filter. It switches a dry contact relay, which can then be monitored on-site in the control room, so that replacement of the filter can be scheduled.
