 Main Principle:   Horizontal Load Bearings can absorb either horizontal loads from one direction (shear bearing) or from all directions (pin bearing).      

Field of Application:   Horizontal Load Bearings are used for the absorption of strictly horizontal forces. Vertical loads are taken by free-sliding bearings.
