The diesel engine is protected at the inlet and exhaust manifold by self cleaning flame arrestor (Airmeex Patent) which does not required regular maintenance. The exhaust heat exchanger is in double skin watercooled to avoid hot surface temperature which can ignited the explosive atmosphere.
The electric parts which causes sparkes or such as the motor or contactors are protected according to CENELEC standards to avoid any ignition or explosion of the dangerous atmosphere. All temperature sensors and safety accessories are fail - safe and stop the forklift in all circumstances.
All plastics parts like wheels, seat and others which could generated electrostatic discharge are protected as well.
