Created in 1987, Météorage is a joint venture between Météo France and Vaisala.

Météorage operates the French Lightning Detection Network.

Operation of Lightning Detection Networks including a 24/7 operating center,

Design and support of Lightning Operating System (CATS) and Application Software (Observation),

Production, marketing and sales of lightning products and services to a large range of customers with “on line” delivery capacity.

Service provider for EUCLID customers (real time alarm and display).

Management of turnkey projects for Lightning Detection Networks.

Météorage is granted with the ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Standard.

Météorage is serving the French, Swiss and Belgium markets with a large range of products and services ( real time and past time) in lightning detection and lightning risk prevention such as Observation, Alarm service, Remote Counter, Statistics …..

Météorage is member of EUCLID European Network.

Météorage is also addressing the Worldwide Market offering to Météo Services or Utilities Networks Operators a Lightning Detection Networks and Services solution on turn keys basis. The scope of supply from Météorage could be either the CATS system to upgrade existing networks or a full network solution.

Météorage has been serving hundreds of customers in France such as Météo France, Electricité de France, France Telecom, Télédiffusion de France, France Télévision, main industry and insurances companies, ….. and customers in Swiss such as Swiss Met Service, EOS…

The CATS system developed by Météorage is used in different countries: Austria, Italy, Spain, Tunisia, Portugal and Morocco.
