You undoubtedly already know of our innovative range of Groschopp-motors belonging to the new power generation; and it is no secret either that we are also successfully involved in researching and developing worm drive gearboxes for more than 50 years. That is why it should come as no surprise that we, as market leader in this field, are taking the next future-orientated step: We are now offering a completely new generation of single wormwheel reduction gearboxes called VARIO, complementing the motors of our new power generation.
Its design is based on a modular layout plan: The one VARIO gearbox housing can be combined with either bearing cover, foot or flange, depending on customer demands. Thus, the design is compatible with our existing range of older models, because all assembly-measurements like center distances, gauges for holes, axle measurements, etc. have been kept exactly the same. Furthermore, we have optimized the loading capacity by 10% by adopting a more efficient design.
Thus, a greater flexibility in production has been achieved, resulting in a cut of delivery times of all gearbox models. In addition to this, our VARIO-system enables us to cater for specific structural requirements and special customer demands. Last but not least, this innovative system really offers our customers economical gearbox-solutions.
