World premiere at the Hanover fair: The revolutionary features of the T-PUR® material make ROTEX® even more resistant.
40 years after the development of ROTEX® flexible couplings, the T-PUR® elastomer is a new fundamental innovation. It significantly expands the field of application and the capabilities of elastic couplings.
The trademark ROTEX®, worldwide, stands for high quality flexible coupling. The conditions of use of ROTEX® in universal applications are more and more demanding. Power increases while congestion decreases. In addition, the user expects a high-performance coupling to also have a long service life in order to limit maintenance cycles and reduce maintenance costs.
Many machines and factories use couplings in areas where conditions can not be compared to temperate conditions in central Europe.
In the past elastomer materials have reached or even exceeded their limits. Special and expensive materials had to be used.
After three years of intensive development and extensive field trials, KTR engineers have revolutionized ROTEX® and therefore the technology of elastic couplings with the new T-PUR® material:
• Increased application range by more than 40%
• permanent temperature up to + 120 ° C!
• maximum current temperature up to + 150 ° C
• lower temperature down to -50 ° C
• Significantly improved dynamic properties
• Considerable increase in service life even in extreme conditions

ROTEX® T-PUR® flectors are available in pastel colors in the usual hardnesses of: 92 SH-A, 98 SH-A and 64 SH-D. From size 100 the ROTEX® ring is standard, on stock, in DZ segment (double teeth).
