Mission

NTI AG is focussed on the development, production and distribution of linear motor systems for industrial applications. Our customers will receive sophisticated products which provide the utmost reliability in linear motion and can easily be integrated into their  automation and control systems. Product standardization and delivery from stock through a worldwide distribution network help to support our dedication to providing immediate availability and prompt customer support.

History

NTI was founded in 1993 as a business unit of the worldwide Sulzer Corporation. The task of NTI was the development of new industrial products, especially of linear motors. In 2000 the linear motor activity of NTI was spun off into the independent company NTI AG.

The headquarters of NTI AG are based in Spreitenbach, near Zurich (Switzerland). NTI AG has two production plants in Switzerland and owns a subsidiary in the United States (LinMot Inc.).

NTI AG distributes products under the brand names LinMot® and MagSpring® through more than 60 distributors worldwide. More than 400 different controllers and motors in stock at all times, deliveries are made throughout the world, often in 48 hours or less. Thousands of LinMot products are now being used in packaging, processing, material handling, inspection and automation applications throughout the world.
