AC2M focuses on reducing its carbon footprint
février 01, 2024
Since 2013, the Éco-défis label ("eco challenges") has been rolled out in several regions and awarded by the French Chamber of Crafts (CMA), in partnership with local authorities, to highlight the concrete actions taken by craftspeople to protect the environment.
The Eco-Challenges bring together a large number of businesses to take simple, eco-responsible action.
Concerned about its carbon footprint, AC2M has joined the Eco-Challenge initiative in 2019 by respecting short production and supply circuits. AC2M uses local suppliers, not only to support the regional economy, but above all to reduce the long-distance transport of goods and make responsible purchases. In terms of waste management, AC2M has opted for a policy of selective sorting and recycling of materials.
As we say at AC2M, because we only have one planet!
The entire range of products designed to ensure operator safety on platforms (safety loading gates, pallet gates) or tanks (folding stairways, safety mobile ladders) is manufactured in a short circuit in its workshops at Dry (Centre region in France).
AC2M is also part of the French Fab community, the network of French industrial excellence, launched in 2017 by Bruno Lemaire, Minister for the Economy, and designed to showcase French craftsmanship.
