The GGB site in Annecy was looking for a hands-free communication tool, adapted to an industrial environment, equipped with a camera, with a Wifi connection, to exchange remotely and/or provide technical support. The collaborative headset was the ideal solution because of its operational advantages.
The headset is equipped with a camera and an audio system with memory card and perfectly meets the specifications. The new system allows to go much further than traditional technologies (phones, tablets, GoPro,...) in terms of ergonomics, reliability or ease of use and opens a wide range of possibilities to users. The tool is all the more relevant now that the pandemic has made travel more limited.

Remote technical support for the start-up and maintenance of new equipment

Recording of an operating procedure by a referent to make it a reference that can be consulted by all for training purposes or continuous improvement

Recording of the way of working of production operators to then analyze with them the improvement areas and optimize their working time.
The headset is also used in GGB's Heilbronn facilities in Germany, and is expected to be used in the facilities in the United States, China and Brazil.
