The PSD direct drives now have interfaces for PROFINET and EtherCAT. The compact drives are thus compatible with four bus systems altogether: CANopen, IO Link, PROFINET and EtherCAT. Other bus interfaces are realised on request. The PSD product range has a modular design with numerous models and options. Along with the compatible bus interface, the maximum torque, IP protection class, connector alignment and the optional hollow shaft can be selected. The step motors with Nema 17 and 23 reach up to 1000 rpm. All relevant subsystems for automatic format changeover are already integrated in the intelligent drives. The direct drives are thus optimally suited to frequent format changeovers in machines. halstrup-walcher is exhibiting the PSD product range at the SPS in Nuremberg, at Booth 131 in Hall 4.
