Very high torque DD motors for cable cars and continuous processing

Phase developed very large, high torque density Direct Drive motors for cable cars and ropeways, with diameters ranging from 2 to 3.5 meters. With the new DD motors, cable cars and ropeways can be made without the traditional, oil filled large gearbox. The new systems are maintenance free and pollution free, guarantee an almost unlimited operational life as there are no wearable parts, and are absolutely silent in operation. This development is another step in the progress of ecological, sustainable and friendly technology. The DD torque delivered to the application ranges between 200,000 and 600,000 Nm.
