Safety Relay SafeC 200 (Cat. 2)

The SafeC 200 safety relay takes over the evaluation of all standard safety components such as e.g. light curtains, emergency STOP buttons, safety edges or interlock switches.

Thanks to the high-performance integrated safety circuits of the SafeC 200, for the majority of applications no supplementary relay is needed. Additionally multiple status outputs ensure a simple communication with every standard SPS and guarantee a reliable and faultless controlling. Even the most demanding of applications relating to Safety Category 2 of EN 954-1 are fulfilled by the SafeC 200 safety relay.

The configuration of a SafeC 200 module to meet the requirements of your own machine is accomplished by using the OptiLink interface. The corresponding “Safety Configurator” software, is available and can be downloaded free of charge at www.cedes.com. With the help of the software, no special programming knowledge is needed, and functions like start mode, stop delay times, “Blanking” and “Safety Prevention” can be easily configured.
