The sand classifier is essentially used to separate solids from liquids in the sand. This equipment mainly recommended for sewage treatment plants is used to divide the sand from the water: The still sandy water is directed inside a stainless-steel tank in order to filter the sand.

After draining the sanded water, the sand is removed through a special Swedish steel screw located at the bottom of the tank.

Also known as the "heavy body separator", the AKIS classifier can be used in paper mill for the treatment of water and pulper waste.

This classification device comes in several models, the choice must be made therefore according to the flow of the liquid required and the amount of sand to be treated.

Possibility to request a complete installation including all piping.
