Sepiolite is a natural sedimentary clay mineral with unique chemical and mineral characteristics.

Unlike other clays that have plate-like particle structures, sepiolite particles have a needle-like morphology.

Chemically, sepiolite is a hydrated magnesium silicate.

Sepiolite-based rheological additive provide viscous fluids with thixotropic behavior when dispersed in water or other liquid systems.
