 Main Principle:    Under normal circumstances, Shock Absorber allow free movements of the bridge structure. Under shock impact, e.g. due to earthquakes, high braking loads or strong winds, they function temporarily as elastic damping connections.      

Field of Application:   Shock Absorber can be used in all situations where horizontal loads, due to earthquakes, strong braking etc., must be through the structure.
