Slew Drives are used for concurrent transmission of axial and radial forces, as well as transmission of tilting moments. Slew drives consist of a ball or roller slewing ring, hydraulic or electric drives, and a completely enclosed housing. The SP slew drive is powered by a pinion gear unit.

SP series is available in SP-L (light version), SP-I (reinforced version), SP-M (medium version), and SP-H (heavy version). SP slew drives are used in special cranes, used for roof top operations, in demolition equipment, in tunnel boring machines, and in automation systems.
