Software: MotoBend

The MotoBend software, for press brake tending, makes it possible to create and modify robot jobs off-line without interfering with the production in the actual robot cell.

Robot access can be checked, and cycle times can be optimised in the simulated environment before the robot job is sent to the control system. You can either set up the bending sequence manually, or let MotoBend generate a complete robot program with the most optimal bending cycle and tool positioning. This includes positioning of the press tools and back gauges so that they correspond to the bending sequence. The press-brake cell is assembled from a library of MOTOMAN standard products and 3D-models of the press, conveyors and other equipment.
