The quill line of SPIRIT, named ELEQUILL is entirely housed in the RAM to assure exceptional performances, such as rotation speed and dynamic behaviour.

The RAM is completely closed on the four sides and placed within a saddle totally closed; this configuration, unique in terms of stiffness, allows a high use of power and assures high accuracy.

SPIRIT is a completely hydrostatic machine using MACHES System (Multi Axis Control Hydrostatic Electronic System), the original and unique device developed by FPT.
