Applications
DiaCAm cameras are ideal for maintenance and can be used for electrical and mechanical applications as well as building thermics. To improve comfort and optimize a building's energy performance, the DiaCAms can quickly detect thermal bridges, insulation defects, leaks, humidity, etc.
For industrial maintenance, the DiaCAms reveal malfunctions on electrical equipment, such as abnormal heating or faulty contacts.
For mechanical applications, the DiaCAms can detect anomalies on parts or assemblies: areas of wear, incorrect shaft alignments or lubrication problems.
Performance
DiaCAm thermal cameras offer high-performance specifications for the applications for which they are designed. Their thermal sensitivity of 0.08 ° at 30 °C allows users to view small temperature differences and provides more detailed thermal images. Their excellent dynamic range for measurement allows measurements from -20 °C to +250 °C. The camera includes integrated analytical functions which are accessible at all times: manual cursors, detection of hot or cold points, alarms, etc.
The measurements are recorded on a 2 GB SD card, supplied as standard, which can store up to 1,000 thermal images.
Analysis
The DiaCAm Preview software is ideal for analysing infrared images. Its easy-to-use interface means that anyone can learn how to use it very quickly. All the analysis functions are already integrated in the toolbar: manual and automatic cursors, value tables, choice of palettes and adjustment of the
influencing quantities… In this way, users can set the emissivity, environmental temperature, distance and relative humidity values directly to ensure a reliable, accurate analysis.
