Cordstrap offers a hands-on cargo securing training program that will give you all the knowledge & industry insights on how to secure your cargo for transport.

‘Seeing is believing’. To witness the conditions that cargo is subjected to during transit is a real eye opener. It clearly demonstrates the need for proper cargo securing. Cordstrap has developed a unique cargo training center and cargo training program for everyone involved in the safe and damage free transportation of products.

Cordstrap training center (CTC) is located at our headquarters in Oostrum, the Netherlands. The training center consists of indoor and outdoor facilities. The indoor training center offers a modern classroom and indoor practical room. The outdoor facility accommodates real-life simulations such as emergency braking, sharp turns & more. Participants will put their newly acquired skills to the test by securing a wide variety of cargo in/on trucks, containers and flatracks. We also facilitate cargo securing training for your staff at your location.

Cargo Securing Training at your location

What we offer you :

Cordstrap’s Cargo Securing experts can also train your staff onsite. Our training program “cargo securing on location” is designed to make your staff aware of the importance of proper cargo securing and will train them how to use different cargo securing products.

The onsite training will be optimized to your specific cargo securing applications. A customized training program guarantees effective hands-on training, using proper strapping, cargo lashing and inflatable dunnage products.

Our training program “cargo securing on location” includes :

•    Relevant information on legislation & regulations
•    Theoretical training in load securing and load calculation methods
•    Intensive outdoor hands-on training using the newly acquired skills
