ZETEX Presentation

Zetex was originally the discrete business group of Ferranti Electronics Limited and was sold to Plessey Semiconductors in 1988.
A year later it was bought out by management and became Zetex Semiconductors plc, taking its name from the ZTX series of bipolar transistors.
During this time the company was a subsidiary of the electronics and communications group Telemetrix plc.
From 2004, it became a public limited company in its own right, trading under the name of Zetex plc, and listed on the London Stock Exchange.
The company was acquired by Dallas-based Diodes Incorporated in June 2008.
Zetex has two wafer fabrication lines in the UK.
Its hub for package development, assembly and test is located in Germany and was acquired in 1993.
