Diverters and Pushers : Swivler

The SWIVLER is designed to sort a wide range of products such as flats and cartons. The three swivel-wheel groups rotate sequentially at a 25º angle for a smooth and gentle divert.

The SWIVLER gently sorts packages at up to 100 cpm (6,000 pph) at a conveyor speed of 270 fpm (1.33 m/s). This capacity is reached due to the quick 0.1 seconds/cycle time of the servo-actuated swivel-wheels.

The high-capacity SWIVLER features a small footprint and is an all electrical design – no pneumatic air supply required.

The independent “1- 2-3” servo-activated sequence rotation of the three tandem swivel-wheel assemblies maximizes the surface contact area to the package upon divert and avoids package “skid-through”. The SWIVLER wheel arrangement steers the entire package at a 25º angle to the downstream take-away conveyor system for maximum sort accuracy.

Designed with minimal gaps between the rotating housing and base frame to eliminate potential jams, the SWIVLER can handle thin and lightweight items without concern for fall-out debris (FOD) dropping into the housing.
