This electronic sensor is designed to measure without dismantling the force applied in a tensioned cable.

Working principle : measurement shear stress by strain gauges.

The deflection of the cable carried through the sensor generates a proportional force to the force applied to the cable.

Stresses generated in the sensor are measured by the strain gauges that generate a 4-20 mA signal.

Aluminum body of sensor is treated to resist corrosion under severe conditions.

This device is intrinsically safe. It can be placed in potentially explosive atmospheres MARKING ATEX Ex II 1G Ex ia IIB or IIC T3Ga 2 scales of standard measures: 6 and 10 Tons

Clamping screw does not require lubrication.
