Al Fr is a product capable of retarding the combustion of polymers. This flame retardant dilutes combustible gases with water vapours generated in the event of a fire thanks to its thermodynamic properties and endothermic dehydration which cools plastic or rubber parts.

Al Fr is environmentally friendly as it does not contain halogens or heavy metals and replaces more expensive flame retardants which are produced using antimony and halogenated mixtures.

Alumina trihydrate (ATH) Al FR is characterised by an average particle size of 1.8-9 µm and is a flame retardant and smoke suppressant.
