“ Simple operation by placing the seat and the ball in position. Vacuum testing up to -0.95 bar with a bubble sight glass, providing direct visual indication of tightness. Suitable for seat cups up to 2 ”
The EFCO K-TEST ball leak testing device is a vacuum testing unit designed to verify the dimensional accuracy and tightness between the ball and the sealing seat in ball valves.
The device enables reliable and efficient leak testing of balls and their seats up to a maximum diameter of 200 mm (8"). By using modern vacuum technology capable of generating a maximum vacuum of approximately -0.95 bar, leakages can be detected quickly and unambiguously.
Advantages (Efficiency and Quality)
Easy operation: Very simple handling with results that can be read directly
Immediately ready for use: Testing can be carried out directly after machining
Fast and efficient: No time-consuming installation of the ball valve or clamping in a valve test bench is required
Safe and gentle: The test is non-destructive and does not require any clamping device
Reliable: The robust design ensures high reliability, even in continuous operation
Features and Specifications
Operation is simple and carried out by placing the seat and the ball onto the vacuum cylinder.
Test method: Modern vacuum technology (max. -0.95 bar). The bubble sight glass is filled with liquid; escaping air bubbles indicate a leak.
Result monitoring: Tightness can be read directly from the bubble sight glass.
Test capacity: Maximum seating diameter for the seat cup: 200 mm.
Compact dimensions: Approx. 500 mm (length) × 426 mm (depth) × 450 mm (height).
