Electro lifting magnets for thick steelplates, blocks & coils

These rectangular electro lifting magnets mainly used to lift heavy objects with a thickness of 10 mm of more. Thanks to the deep penetration of the magnetic field, the force is guaranteed, even if there is a slight gap between the magnet and the object.
The correct choice of system depends on the following factors: 
- The structure and function of the crane.
- The type of traverse fitted.
- The shape and surface of the material to be lifted.

All these factors have to be aligned to achieve a handling system that operates correctly. It is also essential that the magnet makes direct contact with the surface, as a gap of as little as 1 mm can cause a 50% reduction in lifting capacity. Goudsmit would be pleased to advise you on such matters.
