“ The SFD Filling Device pierces corks of sparkling wine bottles by manually drilling the cork with a threaded tube. Once the entire cork is penetrated by the drilling device, the sample tube can be lowered into the bottle and sample is transferred with the aid of pressurized air or nitrogen. No CO2 is lost - tha gasket of the piercing head and the cork of the bottle form a tight seal. Insert an adequate number of centering plates to accomodate bottles of various sizes. The SFD Filling Device can be used with both plastic and traditional corks. ”

The SFD Sparkling Wine Filling Device transfers sparkling wine or wine directly from a closed bottle into the measuring chamber of a measuring instrument. The SFD Filling Device is equipped with a drilling device that penetrates traditional corks and most plastic corks.
