Micromega manufactures and offers a fixed-frequency tonal control system to be mounted on the torque arms of the wind turbine gearbox to prevent vibrations from reaching noise emission zones.

This actively controlled absorber compensates for multiple vibration orders of the tonal gearbox at variable speeds across the entire speed range of the wind turbine.

The transfer of vibratory energy into the tower is prevented; instead, it is redirected into the movement of ADD.Sound’s reaction mass, which produces no emissions.

The ADD.Sound solution for tonal control in wind turbines has been successfully used in hundreds of installations.
