The 25/25 flowmeter is also called flowmeter with flange taps : The taps are located in the flanges.

The high pressure tap is 25,4 mm (1 inch) upstream of the inlet face and the low pressure tap is the same distance downstream of the outlet face of the orifice plate.

It often consists of a pre-assembled complete set including orifice plate mounted between orifice flanges This system is very commonly used and depends on the type of orifice plate, the type of assembly available and installation conditions.
