In its range of central products and alarms for fixed gas detection systems, Teledyne Gas and Flame Detection offers the MX 52, a gas detection equipment, from 2 to 16 channels, of modular design.
Equipped with 2 discrete alarm relays per channel, a common alarm relay 3 and a common fault relay, this MX 52 central measurement unit allows different detectors to be connected and monitored.
By opting for the MX 52, any gas detector or any other 4-20 mA device can be monitored and controlled.
The MX 52 allows:

Display of the wording of the programmed channel (2 lines of 16 characters);

3 individually adjustable alarm levels;

Instant alarms 1 and 2

Alarm 3 delayed or averaged for VLE and VME management;
-
Local or remote acquisition;
-
4-20 mA inputs for connecting other standardized sensors (temperature, pressure, etc.);
-
Common RS485 serial output in JBus format;
-
LED and display tests;
-
Relay in positive or negative security;
-
Relay inhibition in maintenance mode.
Each of the 16 channels:

Continuously monitors the connected sensor (s);
-
Compare the signal delivered to the pre-set alarm thresholds;

Activates the relays corresponding to the servo control (solenoid valves, audible or light alarms, etc.);
-
Continuously tests the measurement line and informs in the event of an anomaly;
-
Control the 5 LEDs on the front panel;
-
Copies the sensor signal to analog output.
