Honeycombs core for structural sandwich panels

Inexpensive and resistant, nidaplast honeycombs have been developed to make structural sandwich panels for lots application fields.

Thanks to our 25 years of experience and millions of square meters sold all over the world, we can answer to the needs of our customers and find solutions to the restrictions imposed by their manufacturing processes.

The nidaplast products are extruded polypropylene honeycombs used as core in sandwich panels. They have hexagonal cells of 8mm between two opposite sides. Both faces are covered with a polyester non woven that allows a very strong bonding for the skins of the panel. Under the non woven, a plastic film limits the filling of the cells with the resin or the glue. Nidaplast products offer an ideal surface to laminate or to glue any type of facings: plywood, metal, stone, etc… It is an easy-to-use material and it’s well adapted to the different modern working, up techniques (lamination, hand or spray lay up, vacuum bagging, RTM, infusion, gluing, heat-sealing).

The use of nidaplast products represents a technical and economical alternative to the traditional methods. Their specific qualities and advantages allow more varied applications.
