Quality and affordability are no contradiction. This is reflected in its lifespan of 1 million revolutions and an optional shaft seal with IP65 protection. Particularly noteworthy are the high radial and axial forces with which the panel encoder can be operated. The MRS series has been on the market for many years. It is well established and used in many applications.
Detents / resolutions: Three variants of detents, even without mechanical detent
There are 3 different mechanical detents of 16, 24 to 32 "clicks" with corresponding 4, 6 or 8 pulses per revolution or without mechanical detent.
Detent torques: The panel encoder is available in two different detent torques: a low one and a higher detent torque. In the variant without mechanical detent, an operational torque remains. If there are significantly higher detent torques required, they can be found in the MRB series.
Push button: With or without push button
The panel encoder has an integrated push button with travel path of 0.5 ±0.3 mm. Applications which require for the push button a longer travel path please take a look at the series MRT, for short travel path at series MRB. In addition, the series MRB has three variants for the actuating force of the push button.
