In combination with the convection heating systems CTD 450 and CTD 600, the MCR rheometers carry out the dynamic-mechanical thermal analysis (DMTA) of solids as well as films and fibers. The system's large temperature range allows the characterization of material properties from the glassy to the rubber state and the melting point.
