OD CLAMPING HSB OHSB AND OHSB C

The standard PFMs on the market clamp the pipe from the inside, but due to the heavy wall thickness and reduced inside diameters often met nowadays, it is impossible to do so.  PROTEM has designed a generation of PFMs which can grab the tube from the
outside: The OHSB Outside high speed beveller. This design allows bevelling with internal wheel trackers even with a small inside diameter.  The OHSB can also bevel extremely heavy walls up to 70 mm in a few minutes.(option: Special carriage)
Example: A 10” pipe wt 60 mm bevelled in 4 minutes.
Bevel shape: 4° + nozzle 2 mm x 2 mm and counter boring of 15°.
The amazing OHSB concept is all hydraulic controlled and can also bevel cladded pipe with a very precise result on the nozzle.
The exclusive auto-centring clamping system (patented) allows a very
accurate and quick pipe positioning.
