Designed to be a stand-alone system for the detection of toxic vapours and gases in ambient air, the PointGard 2100 is easy to install and start up. Simply connect it to a wall power supply and it is ready for use.

Equipped with the DrägerSensor EC electrochemical sensor, this detection system can be used in extreme conditions indoors and outdoors. However, it is not suitable for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.

Once the gas concentration exceeds the defined threshold, the audible and visual alarms are activated:

An orange flashing light indicates the A1 pre-alarm.
A red flashing light indicates the main alarm A2.
A green status flash that goes out in case of a fault or alarm condition.

Through three built-in relays, the POINTGARD 2100 fixed gas detector can be connected to additional external alarm devices.

Capable of monitoring an area of 30m, this protective equipment is equipped with a large 75mm backlit LCD display and a cable measuring up to 30m, which allows remote monitoring.

With an 18-month warranty and operating temperatures ranging from -20 to +50°C, the safety device measures 255 x 280 x 120 mm and weighs 2500 g.
