RTFRO (Wires and cables for marine diesel engines)

Developed for demanding installations in tough areas such as engine rooms and control rooms, our cables are able to offer mechanical strength which enables installation without added protection along with a wide temperature range of -65oC to +150oC that can guarantee a long lifetime, even when placed close to the heat source. Habia’s diesel engine cables are oil and chemical resistant and flame retardant to IEC 60332-3 adding major safety benefits. In addition to the approved types detailed within this document, Habia Cable can also offer a wide range of variant designs the RTFRO concept as a basis. As well as the standard RTFRO types, RTFRO-TCK provides a range of cables suitable for any measuring system using thermocouple transducers. Commonly available as a KX type (Nickel/Chromel, Nickel/Alumel) extension cable, the RTFRO-TCK can also be used as the basis for any number of non-approved, customised variants with a wide range of extension and compensation metals available for use. Suitable connecting wires are available from Habia’s RT range of power cores.
